EWA Sensors offer three deployment options to match your existing infrastructure and operational requirements.

EWA Deployment Options

EWA Sensor Model E1

Advanced Condition Monitoring Sensor

The EWA Sensor Model E1 is designed for Real-Time Health Monitoring of rotating machinery, including pumps, motors, and gearboxes, in both dry and submerged installations.

Key Features

  • 3D Vibration Measurement: Three individual ADXL1002 MEMS sensors from Analog Devices with linear frequency response from DC to 11 kHz
  • 3D Magnetic Field Sensing: Advanced coil design for higher sensitivity and lower noise compared to Hall sensors
  • Precision Temperature: I²C TMP1075 sensor with 0.0625°C resolution and ±0.25°C accuracy (-55°C to +125°C)
  • On-Edge Processing: 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 core performs all analytics inside the sensor
  • Industrial Design: Stainless steel housing, IP68 sealed, Ø56mm × 14mm
Vibration Range: 0-200 mm/s RMS
Magnetic Field Range: 0–2.000 μT
Temperature Range: -40 to 110 °C
Power Supply: 12-24 VDC, 60mA, 1/8 Unit Load
Interface: Modbus RS-485 RTU
Cable Length: 12 meters

Comprehensive Health Monitoring

Modbus Interface Guide (PDF)

With over150 parameterscalculated every second, the EWA Sensor delivers continuous, real-time monitoring.

  • Rotational Analysis: RPM (vibration and magnetic), slip detection, rotation direction
  • Vibration Diagnostics: RMS velocity levels, unbalance detection, bearing fault identification
  • Mechanical Conditions: Spur gear health, cavitation detection, false brinelling ratio
  • Operational Metrics: Machine health, operation time, start/stop, temperature

EWA Cloud & Cloud-Agent

Cloud-Based Monitoring Platform

The EWA Cloud provides a web-based interface for monitoring machine health across an entire facility from anywhere with internet access. An active EWA Cloud subscription is required.

Cloud Features

  • Machine Health Dashboard: Real-time visualization of all connected sensors with customizable views
  • Historical Trends: Time-based trend analysis with flexible date range selection
  • Geo-Mapping: Visual location-based monitoring with custom location groups
  • Alert Management: Color-coded status indicators (Green, Blue, Orange, Red) for quick assessment
  • Data Export: CSV download and daily automated backups available
  • Data Retention: 180-day default storage with optional extensions
  • Multi-Tenant Support: Role-based access control for enterprise deployments
